Event ID 1000, Userenv

We have a Win2k domain and suddenly the administrator
account can't log in to the domain, it gets an error to
check password etc almost as if it doesn't exist yet I
can see it does. In the application event log of the 2
DC's (SP3)and member servers I'm getting the Event ID
1000, Source-Userenv, Windows cannot determine the user
or computer name, return value (1326). My guess is that
it may have to do w/ a auto update. Any help is greatly
appreciated. Thanks!
