Event ID 10, 13 and 61

Hi,

Our Windows 2000 print server has suddenly stopped
printing jobs. We are getting a series of events in Event
Viewer:

Event 10: Document 3, Test Page owned by administrator was
printed on Science_Lab2 via port SciLab2. Size in bytes:
0; pages printed: 1

Event 13: Document 3, Test Page owned by administrator was
deleted on Science_Lab2.

When these events appear, no job has actually printed.

Occasionally we get Event 61: The document Test Page owned
by administrator failed to print. Win32 error code
returned by the print processor: 3003 (0xbbb).

This evidently shows that the StartDocPrinter call was not
issued, but I haven't found any information for fixing the
problem.

I just upgraded to W2K, SP4, but that didn't make any
difference.

If anyone has a suggestion, I would greatly appreciate it!

Many thanks,
Kathy Norton

I heard there is bug with SP4. Try uninstalling SP4 or
installing SP3 and see if you're able to print again.

BTW, there is a post at the bottom on SP4 update saying
the same thing I've reply to your post earlier.

Win32 Error Code 3003 (0xbbb) & error code 67

Problem:
On a Win2000 Pro SP4 machine
"The document *** owned by *** failed to print. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 3003 (0xbbb)"
or after applying Win2000 Pro SP4 Rollup Update 1
"Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 67"
This error message appeared when I tried to print to my networked print server as a standard Win2000 Pro user (print was OK when administrator).
Solution:
Access the IP port, remove the MAC address and replace it with the appropriate IP address.
