Win 2003 Ent Ed Printserver problem (events 10, 13, 61)

A customer of mine has a Win 2003 Ent Ed. Print server on a DL380 G3

Users report that several times a day their documents are not printing
on the printserver.

We checked all different drivers on client as well as server and
everything is up to date. Clients are using XP Pro SP1.

We checked TCP/IP Checksum offloading (enabled on the NIC = OK)

Beneath is a partial extraction from the log (events: 10, 13, 61)

here are a couple of kbs on startdocprinter failures. I am pretty sure the
3003 is generated when the print device is not available. The spooler with
retry the port every 5 seconds on this failure.

error 61 is the important one, this is the failure. Event 10 is a success
(yes I realize in this case it is wrong, , event 13 is when the spooler
deletes the job. Server 2003 SP1 adds better detection regarding the true
failure.
