Basically - back up your data now. Your main boot drive
(Drive 0) has a section (block) of the hard drive that is
going bad.

Run a scandisk on the drive and see if it can repair the
damaged files.

Start, My Computer, Right click on Drive C, click on
Properties, Click on Tools, Click Check Now in the Error
checking section, check both boxes - Automatically Fix
file system errors AND Scan for and attempt recovery of
bad sectors. Click start. The message "do you want to
run next time computer restarts" will come up. Click
yes, scandisk will run the next time you restart your
computer.

Hope this helps

Go to the manufacturers website of the harddrive and see if they have a
diagnostic utility.
