The following error message appears in my event log:
The IPv6 Internet Connection Firewall service terminated with
service-specific error 2147952447 (0x8007273F).
The IPv6 Internet Connection Firewall service was unable to find support for
IPv6. This may indicate that the IPv6 protocol suite is not installed or it
failed to start. The data is the error code.
IPSec Services: IPSec Services failed to get the complete list of network
interfaces on the machine. This can be a potential security hazard to the
machine since some of the network interfaces may not get the protection as
desired by the applied IPSec filters. Please run IPSec monitor snap-in to
further diagnose the problem.
I have the WinXP built in firewall enabled for both my broad band and Lan
connections. I also have Norton internet security 2004 and I was under the
impression that I should run both a personal firewall and the built in
firewall.
Is there something I can do to fix the above reported error?
