Event 7000 -- ASPI32 Fails to Start

I'm getting the following error message in the System
Event log on Windows XP Professional SP1:

The ASPI32 service failed to start due to the following
error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

The Event ID is 7000. There doesn't seem to be any
information on this particular error. Any
ideas/thoughts. Is this something I can ignore?
