Evaluate XP Embedded

I want to evaluate upgrade Windows 98 to Windows XP, but i want to know if XP Embedded is better for me. Prinpal i want to know what is the defference between XP Profesional and XP Embedded. I work for a Retail company, we have a Pont of Sales System and i want a OS not to heave but secure

Then XPe may be a good choice for your company (also consider license costs).
