On another newsgroup, several people including myself have observed
problems with Eudora after upgrading to Computer Associates' eTrust
antivirus v6.2. On Windows XP boxes, Eudora will intermittently and
unpredictably close with a failure associated with the ntdll.dll file.
In a brief test on a single Win98SE box, Eudora appeared to run all
right but as soon as it was closed an "illegal operation" notice would
appear. The problem appears to be related to the new version's
real-time email monitoring ability. Has anyone else observed this?

No, but I quit using it awhile back so I might not have made
it to your version. I am just coming across a similar thing
with SpywareGuard tough; see my post under that subject if
interested.
