Help!
I have a Dell with Windows Media Center. The networking suddenly quit
working tonight. The green light on the card is flashing, the router is
showing the connection going on and off in time, and the network connections
on the Dell indicates that it connects then disconnects repeatedly every 1
second or so.
I reset the router and the cable modem - No effect
I changed the port on the router - No effect
I changed the ethernet cable - No effect
I swapped out the network card - No effect
I swapped out the PCI card slot - No effect
The router and cable modem seem to be fine. I have another computer
connected to them and it's working fine.
I'm thinking that it's got to be a problem with the computer itself, OS or
hardware? - I don't know. But I've ruled out everything else that I can
think of.
Any ideas? Obviously, I'm stumped.
