Establishing remote access

We are trying network computers in different locations. While establishing a
new user, we are unable to change the 15 character default password. What is
this password? Or how can we change it and make it stick?

this password? Or how can we change it and make it stick?

Windows XP doesn't have a default password. It always displays the
same number of dots to hide a password, regardless of whether a
password exists or the number of characters in the password.
