Errors with WMI

On a newly-built Windows 2003 active directory server, our application log is filling with the following error:

Windows couldn't log the RSoP (Resultant Set of Policies) session status. An attempt to connect to WMI failed. No more RSoP logging will be done for this application of policy.

Has anyone seen this on Windows 2003?
 
Can you check, that Windows Management Instrumentation services are running
on the server ?
