Errors when replicating RIS with DFS

We are using several W2K3 servers (not R2) and XP clients in a domain
structure.
What we want is that our 1th RIS server is replicated to our 2nd RIS server.

Iv setup DFS with replication and everything looks OK. Files get replicated,
all files look to be in place. It takes a while, but it looks ok.

BUT when i try to resore a client PC from the newly RIS server it stops with
a Warning/Error saying it "found an error in drivers or that the installation
copy doesn't match the hardware" or something like that. I can continue, but
then it complains that the installation copy is damaged.

Tests with the "master" RIS server all check OK.

What can i do about this? Any assistance is welcome.

Addon:
I should have said that i "installed" a new ris server (Risetup) and then
replicated the Reminst directory from the master to to new server.
A bit like the following KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=273594

And then when installing from the newly created and replicated RISserver
these errors/warnings happen.
I also noticed that the master and replicated reminst directory differ in
total filesize. It looks like not all the files get replicated.

The eventviewer on both RIS servers show the following error, but that's all:
"EventID: 13522, The File Replication Service paused because the staging
area is full. Staging files are used to replicate created, deleted or
modified files between partners. FRS will automatically remove least recently
used files from this staging area (in the order of the longest time since the
last access) until the amount of space in use has dropped below 60% of the
staging space-limit, after which replication will resume."
Nothing further...
