Hi - I am trying to reinstall Windows XP and am experiencing errors...
When I boot from the installation disk, I get to a point where Windows can't
see my hard drive - it reports that no mass storage media is present.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

If your bios set can see the drive, enter the recovery console and run the
command:
CHKDSK /r

Maybe you need to install third party drivers, typically sata/raid, from
floppy, via F6 option early in the process

Or there again if you are reinstalling after a problem, perhaps your IDE
drive has failed.

Try to log into your BIOS and see if your HDD is set as the First Boot
Option and go through your HDD configuration, it depend on your BIOS make and
version.
Also if your HDD came with Software drivers you need to install them by
Pressing F6 when performing the installation/Setup.
HTH.

Where can I find these drivers?

Thanks so much for your help. Have found info but for some reason my floppy

other stuff fixed as well.
