Errors after Motherboard upgrade

Hi there,
I followed the Microsoft support article that tells you how to
upgrade your motherboard on a XP system. I now have major problems with my
PC. All of my internet connections have disappeared and I cannot create any
new ones. The Remote Access Connection Manager service will not start, I
get error 5, access denied. Media Player crashes and so does System
Restore.
Please help!

If advice don't work, back up your personal data to external media, and do a
clean install.

Have you had a look in the Device Manager (enter devmgmt.msc in start => run
box) to see if there are any devices that are giving problems?

Use the View => Show Hidden Devices.
