errors about dinput8.dll

Hiya!

I was getting an error which is driving me CRAZY. i love playing games, and
now i am getting those errors that ask to send error reports. i go to "click
here" and the modname (which i am sure is the file at fault) is pointing the
finger at dinput8.dll. the error shows right before the window appears. every
game i have except The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, and the Prey demo show up
with the error.

I have tried re-installing windows, replacing the graphics card (Geforce 4
to a geforce fx 5200) and then windows wouldnt boot, so i swapped the cards
over again. ive tried upgrading directx, the card drivers, everything i can
think of. can someone please help me, because my lil sis is constantly
thinking i put a virus on here or something cause hers wont run as well.

hey,

Thanx for replying. i shall skip the but-kissing and get on with it, so it
saves u time.
Unfortunatly it didnt work for me. i dont play second life and i always
update everything every month. sorry. THANK YOU SO MUCH THO!
