chris needing help!

i've just brought battlefield 2 and i and have run the game once before on
my computer but my computer keeps restarting when it is loading to play the
game. My graphics card is a geforce fx 5200 and the lowest one it says i need
to run it is a geforce fx 5700. i'm not sure if this is the problem but my
computer says after the restart that it is a virus that is causing the
problem but i have used norton and the online virus scanner and it's still
saying it's a virus causing the problem!! Can anyone help me with this
problem!! All the other requirements for the game are fine.

Hi chris,

Your system is most likely restarting as a result of a STOP error.

To stop this behavior go to Control Panel / System / Advanced /
Click the Startup and Recovery Settings button / Uncheck the box
labelled "Automatically restart" under the System Failure section.

To analyze the error, try the steps in: http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

If the error indicates a file name that begins with ati, or nv (nVidia)
the most likely solution would be to install the latest drivers using
the instructions at: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/Video.html#drivers
