I am running XP Professional with 512 Ram and pentium 4 at
2.4 ghz.
when i try to scan in a picture to adobe photoshop 5.5 I
get a fatal error message. In particular it is "Error -36.

Does the scanner work on its own... ie if you try to scan pictures using its
own software and just saving them in your folders?
