Error- Windows Movie Maker - Class Not Registered

Microsoft Movie Maker:
Last SP 2 auto update (Movie Maker automatic update is on) stopped Movie
Maker from downloading from Firewire to my Sony cam. It was working two weeks
ago.
When pluggin in the firewire, the Sony is recgonized.
Movie Maker recommends upgrading the ATI Radon 9200 driver.
Did that, no difference.
The Movie maker connected to the Firewire on my Sony digital cam no longer
downloads. The wizard step where I expect to see the video + controls shows:
Error- Windows Movie Maker - Class Not Registered

There is no way to un-install Movie Maker and re-install.
Movie Maker only allows for "automatic updates".

How can I un-install and re-install Movie Maker???

Try executing the following line on the Start -> Run dialog:

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\qdv.dll

Amazing! I have tried to un-install and re-install so many things.
This instantly fixed the problem.

I have created, edited and posted some High Resolution 720 x 480 video from
Windows Movie Maker at the follwoing FTP site:
http://www.overvolt.net/battletech/Battletech/
Credits with MS Power Point
"Commander Xela vs Rx" (both high res and for Pocket PC)
"Bug Zapper" (Both high resolution and for Pocket PC resolution)

Thank you very much for this fix!
