installed an old Iomega External CD-writer driver on a
Windows XP Pro machine.

I then un-installed it because it was causing some
instability to the system from Add/Remove Programs.

Now, everytime I boot up my Win XP, I get a message shown
on my system tray, saying...

"System detected drivers are causing your system to become
unstable. Not all drivers will be loaded. Click here for
more info"

I click on it, and it does a config check of my machine.
Then shows 2 obsolete drivers, which belong to the Iomega
software. I tried doing a search for the files, but
couldn't find it.

How do I solve this problem and get my system back to its
original working state?
Please help....

Hi Roger,

Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on the startup
programs. Look for any mention of the Iomega software here. Make note of
where it is loading from, as this is where you will need to go to disable
it. If you are unable to decipher the load location, post back with the
specifics.
