Error while Downloading WMP

Hi All,
I have recently received a new laptop, DEll inspiron
2.0Ghz Celeron, w/ W2k SP4 and the most recent updates. I
was trying to download Windows Media Player 9.0 and keep
getting the message "Extracting File Failed. It is most
likely caused by a low memory (Low disk space for swapping
file) or corrupted cabinet file." I doubt this is a swap
space issue. I have 128MB RAM and a 20GB HD. All other
apps are working fine. I would tend to believe the
corrupted Cab file issue, but am unsure how to fix this or
what to do to overcome this. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Perry

If it's a corruption of the cab, you can either redownload it or choose to
install via http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . :)

Zach,
Many thanks. That was the ticket. I thought I had all
the updates for this OS, but was dead wrong. Please let me
know if I can ever help you in any way. DSL Networks and
VOIP/Video Apps are my specialty.
Thanks,
Perry
