extracting file failed

Recently, whenever I try to install a filw on a windows xp media center
edition sp2 2003 pc, I get an error message extracting file failed.It is most
likely caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted
Cabinet file. There is more than enough free space on the disk. Why is this
happening and how can it be corrected?I also tried installed the windows
cleanup utlity and go the same message. Thank you.
