Error while accessing a file over https

Hi All,

Whenever I login to a https secure website and try to download a report from
there (which is in Excel Format), it opens another windows and many a times
I again get the https authentication box asking me for the login id and
password. This is a random issue and I am unable to workaround it. Also I
try to open the report as soon as I logon to the site, so I believe session
timeout cannot be the reason for this.

Could anyone help me on this pls.

What version of Windows and IE are you using? Are you getting an error
message when you try to download? If so, what is the exact wording of the
message? This may enable us to help you find a solution
