Error when using IE6 - Please help!!!

I frequently get a message that says that an error has
occurred and IE needs to close. I have attempted to call
my computer company - they don't cover that - and my ISP -
but they say it's not them. I have also uninstalled and
reinstalled IE, but have not had success in solving this
problem. It's very annoying as it seems to happen when
I'm in the middle of something. Thanks for any help you
can offer.

I'm not sure what type of details you might need. There
is no rhyme or reason as to when it happens - no amount
of time, certain sites, or anything else. I'm using IE6
and Windows XP. I have AT&T as my ISP, but like I said
they said they can't help me because it's not them. I
have an HP ze1110, but when I called them, they also said
they can't help me because it's not a hardware problem.
What more would you exactly need to know because I will
gladly provide it.
