error when saving spreadsheet

WHen I try to save a spreadsheet that is full of Vlookups. I receive the
error message "Excel could not save all the data and formatting you recently
added "

To return to your workbook without saving click cancel
If you want to continue saving changes without repairing the problem click ok
 
Hi,

I have experienced very slow write-to-disk speeds in Excel (several minutes
in some cases), when saving files both with or without Lookup functions. I'm
not sure that the Lookup functions are causing the problem.
