error when opening int. explorer

i am getting an error report when i first open internet explorer....the
latest is .... Fault Bucket 374598727
i think i deleted a file, the error i think it is looking for is
C:\DOCUME~1\EDY\LOCALS~1\TEMP\3e28_appcompact.txt
how do i put this back, this was a comp owned by someone named edythe, i
deleted her files, did i delete something i shouldn't have? thanks

You could try reinstalling IE. One way to do that is to go to start/run, and
type:

SFC /SCANNOW


If you use IE7 as an upgrade, you may have to do that from Add/Remove in
Control Panel. (Change button)

The easiest way to fix this would probably be to reinstall IE altogether -->

or you could switch to an alternate web browser, I have found Mozilla
FireFox to be a good alternative --- > http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
