Error when opening attachments

LMI

I get the following error when i open up any attachments snt to my outlook
2003 account. The operation failed. An object could not be found? does anyone
get this error message. I was able to open attachments up until last week.
 
What kind of attachment are we talking about?
Do other attachments work?
At what exact time do you get the error message?
 
Its when i receive an attachment and it doesn;t matter what kind attachment
..doc or .pdf. jpg when i click and go open attachment this happens,
