Troubled Man

Hi,

I have an error message when i open any attachment in my outlook 2003. The
error is as follow: "An operation failed. An object could not be found."

Will be glad if you can advise me.

Thank you.

Your Outlook Secure Temp folder might be missing or corrupt. Since there is
no good way to get to this location via Windows Explorer, I usually suggest
changing the location of said folder via the registry. Here is a quick
overview on how to complete.

1) Close Outlook (make sure it isn't running in the task manager)

2) Open regedit and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security

3) Change the OutlookSecureTempFolder to your "temp" path. (Using me as an
example, c:\documents and settings\neo\local settings\temp)

4) Close regedit and then give Outlook a try.

If this doesn't work, then you probably have a 3rd party thing installed
that is interfering. Just so you know, I have seen this behavior with older
versions of the Google desktop bar (not sure if included desktop search).
