error "The certificate stores could not be enumerated" running defragmenter

Hi.
I've got Win2K SP4 and when I click on start-programs-
accessories-disk defragmentor, I get a dialog box that
says "The certificate stores could not be enumerated. The
system cannot find the file specified."

What file is it looking for? This just started happening.
Any ideas would be great!
