Error & Shutdown while on AOL

I log onto the AOL website about 10 times a day. At
least two of those times (every day for about a month),
while reading and writing emails, I get an error
message "Internet Explorer has detected an error and
needs to shut down". Then it completely closes all
Explorer windows I have open.

Does anyone have an idea of how this problem could be
fixed?
