ERROR SENDING FROM OUTLOOK 2002

USING XP PRO....
I am RIPPING my hair out here....
does anyone know why the gmail pop REFUSES to send an email thru
outlook?
i just get a time out...
help!
 
What are you using for the SMTP server with that account?
