Error Saving txt file Import Specification

I am try to create and save an Import Spec for a "*" delimited .txt file in
an existing database. I have proper accesses and can import .xls files
easily. The message I'm getting is "An error occured trying to save
Import/Export specification...". The import spec does work on a new database.

Hi Gene,

I can't find any useful information about this error, which suggests
it's a rare one and make me feel it may be a symptom of a corrupted mdb
file - especially if you can save an identical spec in another db. See
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm for de-corrupting
techniques.
