Error saving to mapped drives

I am receiving the following error:

An error occurred while reconnecting Q: Microsoft Windows
Network: The local device name is already in use. This
connection has not been restored.

This is on a Windows 2000 Professional and I just applied
SP4. This did not resolve the problem. All network
drives have a red x on them. Everything I find says to
apply the latest service pack, but this has not resolved
my problem. I can browse the drives with no problem, but
when I try to save to them, the error occurs and the red x
stays on the drives. Also, verified DNS settings. Any
help?

Thats weird, I am getting that error too, I get it after
about a minute of transfering data, seems like I get
booted out of the domain because XP asks me to log back
in but..... the servers will not accept my user name and
password, after rebooting the server all is fine until I
try it again....

Anyone got some ideas on this?
