error registering wshom.ocx in XP

Hi,

Im having trouble to install Windows Script 5.6 in a XP Pro SP2
machine, the setup program display the error:

Error Registering the OCX C:\Windows\System32\wshom.ocx

when try to register manually using regsvr32, got the error:

DllRegisterServer in wshom.ocx error code 0x80040200

I'm running the setup program as administrator.

Obviously is impossible run scripts that use Scripting.FileSystemObject
or WScript.Shell.

I have searched in google about this error...but everything refer to NT
trouble none to XP.

Any hints?

Go back and look at those. Windows XP is really Windows NT 5.1.
