You get your email using your browser, right? This would appear to be so. Looks like (for unknown reason) your browser is seeing a scripting error "on that page". I would suggest begin by doing these steps:
1. Force a manual 1-time delete. IE/ Tools/ Internet Options / General Tab-
Temporary Internet files block - press the "Delete Files" button and apply.
2. For an on-going basis:
Have your settings in I.E. do it for you when you exit out of it (at program
close).
Bring up Internet Explorer, from menu, select Tools | Internet Options |
select (click) ADVANCED Tab.
Scroll down to "Security" section.
Select (click) "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed".
Click APPLY & OK out.

3. IE browser has a few settings within it for script errors. You are seeing and
getting scripting errors displayed; which you can do away with.

You begin by looking at IE, its menu | Tools| Internet Options
in Advanced Tab, under the "Browsing" column---
Check "Disable script debugging"

& UN-CHECK "Display a notification about every script error".

4. Add the website page for Hotmail into the Trusted Sites list of your browser.
Internet Explorer > main menu /Tools/Internet Options >

Security Tab/ click on green icon Trusted Sites/click Sites button.
Un-Check "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" to *clear* the selection.

In the "Add this Web site to the zone:" field, add the Hotmail address.

Apply changes and make a clean exit. Restart browser. Retry Hotmail.
This may not be the total solution; but should be a decent start. HTH

tried all ... no change. will try to send opening page
to maurice. hope by looking at it can make determination.
thanks pat
