error pop3 mailbox

I was setting my pop3 email account in microsoft outlook and i am connected
to internet through a Lan with Isa server .When i was testing it it gave me
error : The specified server was found but there was no response from the
server . Please verify the port and SSL information is correct. Please help.

Try contacting your ISP and confirm that the Outgoing Mail Server does or
does not require a specific Logon and password.
