error pop-up "680180.net - Microsoft Internet Explorer"

Someone help! Literally 10-15 times in 15 minutes this
message pops up. It looks like it is going to be another
web page opening or even kind of like an ad, at first but
then, it just shows the Internet Explorer, e then in
white letter across the top bar, just like this
says "Microsoft Newsgroups - Microsoft Internet Explorer"
but this says "680180.net - Microsoft Interent
Explorer", then if you press x, it will sometimes close,
otherwise it minimizes itself, then you have to wait a
few seconds then right click and close. Then in less
than 2 minutes you have to repeat the entire process,
again and again and again. Please help, it's gotten so
frustrating that we don't even want to come online.
Thanks.

Your machine may be/is infected with spyware/malware. Go
get copies of Ad-Aware and Spybot (both free) and run them.
That should clean your machine.

You might want to consider using a different browswer such
as Firefox, Opera, etc. They all have built-in pop-up
blocking so the ads which install this stuff on your system
don't even appear.

Another option might be to get Googles Toolbar which also
has built-in pop-up blocking.

This host file will block it.

Stopping them now will not remove it from your computer. I would clean my
computer of all parasites.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
