While I was exploring the Plug-ins options, I clicked on the "Now Playing" category in "ad-remove plug-ins", and I didnt stop the song. Since then, Media Player 9 gives the following Errormessage
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly

The media player does not play any songs from my library, play lists, or from a music CD. Additionally, the "Copy From CD" option does not function.However,it does play the system sounds.
According to all the resources I have looked at on my system, all drivers and devices are funcioning properly
