Error Outlook 2003

Hi,

I keep getting an error message every time I try to send
an E-mail, I get 500 Unauthorized relay msg rejected. Can
anyone help me or explain what this message is.

It could be a couple of things, you may need to authenticate against the
SMTP server first and this can be applied by going into the Properties of
the email account choosing "More Settings" and then "Outgoing Server" and
check the first box. The other reason could be that you are trying to send
an email from an account that isn't the same as your current connection for
instance you have a BT ISP connection and you are trying to send an email
from virgin.net.
