I have a pretty standard Windows XP setup on my home
computer which comes up with the following error when I
try and open Internet Explorer - it won't open at all. I
have removed and then installed Microsoft Office but it
still doesn't work:
"...Error Signature
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer 6.0.2800.1106 ModName
ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217 Offset: 00019ecd"

The technical specs in the report were a little too long
to copy into this mail. Any ideas how to fix ?

I have tried this (as part of the complete MS Office re-
install) but no joy.

First off has it ever worked? If not then your memory
RAM would be to blame, not compatible with XP. Most
common. Try Removing a Stick I assume you have 512 with
2 256MB chips.

If it did work before and now does not try a previous
configuration on your OS.
