Have just found this on Tiscali web site We have known system issues
affecting our email service, our engineers are working on this and hope to be
able to resolve this very soon. We apologise for any inconvenience that they
may cause.

During this period you will not be able to send or receive emails but please
note that any mails received will NOT be lost.

Can now access Tiscali Mail using Windows Mail (or Outlook Express?). Still
cannot access it direct off the Tiscali login page, their web page stating
the problem is now also unavailable!

I seem to be having a similar problem on Talktalk. My message reads:
Connection to server has failed. Account POP3, server mail.talktalk.net.
Protocol: POP3, Port 995, Secure (SSL) Yes, Socket Error 10060, Error Number
0x800CCCDE.

I've not been able to receive or send emails now for over a week. Please
help! Thanks.

I'm having the same trouble with Sky and Googlemail.

"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Sky', Server:
'pop.tools.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

Is it possible to use Word Mail or shall I give up?

I have a similar connection issue. I'm using verizon.net, I've uninstalled
McAfee, and just using Windows firewall/defender at the moment. Below is the
error message.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Windows Mail', Server:
'incoming.verzon.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
