Error Msg - "application failed to initialize"

Recently I've been unable to run new software. After the
install I get;

"application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)"

when I try to run the executable associated with the
program.

Hi, What software? Have you tried asking the maker of the software about
it? If it's Microsoft's software you may select the newsgroup from below
that corresponds to that specific product.

It's anything I've downloaded. Kazaa, E-Donkey,
Iphotoplus, Adobe Acrobat, Adware, etc,etc.
