I got a little yield sign looking warning on my taskbar, where the clock is.
It said something about a corrupt system file, I think. I think I right
clicked on it, wanting to read it but it just disappeared.

1) How do I see what the problem is?

2) Why doesn't xp have SFC?

3) Does it have something similar, for checking for corrupt system files and
replacing them?

Hi Steven

1. Not too sure without any error messages.

2. From Start>Run type "sfc /scannow" - without the quotes. You will need to have your XP CD to hand.
