Error messages

My internet explorer shuts down on me constantly. Can
anyone help? When I type the web address in the address
box 70% of the time I get the following error:

IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault in Module
USER.EXE at 003:00001022

Is there anyway to fix this?

This is probably being caused by a third-party program
(adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items
listed in red.)
