Error messages

I am trying to install Dungeon Siege 2 on my comp but every time the game
tries to open, a box stating "Exception Detected" appears and then another
message appears stating that Microsoft has encountered a problem and it has
to shut down. Then the game program shuts down. Can someone PLEASE tell me
what is going on and how I can fix this problem. Also, how do I find or
change the "resolution". I was told it needs to be set at like 1400 X (don't
remember) but it is probably set at 800 X (don't remember).

If the resolution setting doesn't help things, contact the game maker about
the problem. To change resolution, right click the desktop and select
properties. Click the settings tab and change the resolution there.

Wow that was quick. THANK YOU!!! That helped me determine what the
resolution is but I still can't open my game. I will try contacting the game
manufacturers. Thank yoiu again!!! =-)
