Error messages on hotmail

Ever since I downloaded a Messenger 6.1 upgrade, I am experiencing a message, similar to that which often appears on the web browser responding to an error) saying ( ! Action Cancelled ) with black text on white background just above the 'In-box' option. A similar message, three times larger, appears on the right of the page, with more detailed text telling what to do. Everybody here is experiencing difficulties in recognising this awkward message .. Wonder if it is part of the new (design)! or a new fierceful terrifying virus that cannot be overcome, particularly, as this occurs simultaneously with an (explosion) sound whenever getting-in to a page (loading), or leaving out of it

PS help with this annoying problem
