error message

When I start up windows I get an error message. It reads Windows cannot find
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\vxd32v.exe
The file was deleted by my virus checker can anyone tell how I stop the
message appearing

Look for >>
c:\Documents and Settings\user2\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\dllxw.exe

Delete the reference: dllxw.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Run "load32" = %SysDir%\L32X.EXE

Delete: %SysDir%\L32X.EXE
