error message

Hi,
I'm getting this message saying, Internet Explorer has encountered a problem
and needs to close. We are sorry the inconvenience.
Please tell Microsoft about this probelm. we created an error report,
..........
Once I click to send error message it does send the message, but than
internet explorer shuts down auto.
I try to ubdate my windows, but I could not able to do it
I try to ubdate my mic. office system software, I could not able to do it.
I try to system restore, I could not able to do it, because everytime I'm
getting the same error message as above I describe.
There is any way to solve this problem? I mean, I can still use my
computer, but it seems Im not able to use like Qucik time, messangers, and it
gives me same error.

Thank you very much for you reply, it was very helpfull. But I do have
another issue right now, which is , when I go to yahoo, some how I can't see
the pictures, and everything is not the same the way it should be,. writing
is different, frames are not the same way.. Do you have any comments for that?
