error message

Jerry Albaum

When turing on the machine using XP Pro the following
message appears:
"Memory access violation in module kernal 32 at
XXXX:XXXXXXXX" I click OK and things progress. However,
when trying to open Norton Firewall 2003 the message
appears and the firewall will not open.

Any ideas about how to resolve this will be appreciated.

Did you recently get an E-mail message, purportedly from
Microsoft, and installed the attachment it included? If so, it
wasn't from Microsoft (Microsoft never sends out patches by
E-mail) and you installed a virus.
