Error message

I have been getting the following error message when using
Pinnacle 9 with Windows XP Home.

The instruction at "0X7c168f1d" referenced memory
at "0x0000001c" The memory could not be read.

I have no idea what this means and what I need to do about
it.
 
I get the same error message when I close Internet explorer and no one has
been able to fix it. I thought I was alone.
