error message

Everytime I start up my computer I get and error message
the says "kbdbr.exe has encountered and error" and that
the program will now close. Can anyone explain what this
means, how to fix, etc.?

Hi

"Kbdbr.exe" looks like a spyware/adware program.

->boot the computer in safemode loggin as Adminstrator
->click Start-->Ran type "msconfig" (without quotes)click
OK
->click the tab for Startup and try to locate "kbdbr.exe"
if found clear the check box
->Click Apply then Close and restart the computer.

Download a spyware/adware removal tools scan the computer
and remove them also install a Firewall and update your
Antivirus regurlly.

Type in aaw6.notlong.com in your browser and download the
Ad-Aware 6.0 and install it. Scan the comp with that and
it will detect the spywares and then remove them.

Do you have a Brazilian keyboard?

I don't THINK that is a file that ships with Windows XP,
it may be a driver that was installed for a wireless or
enhanced keyboard of some type. . .

Or it could be a key-logger - spyware. See other response
in this thread for defensive tools.

The file itself (if spelled correctly) is off the radar -
nothing on Google or the MS Knowledgebase).
